Christmas Eve Pics at the National Harbor

Here are some pictures from the National Harbor on December 24th. I was hanging out with family and had my D3 handy. We went to the convention center first and and then ended up at Grace's Mandarin for dinner. Click on any of the images to look at the gallery.

Nov 15 Weekend

I was in DC near Woodley eating with family at an Indian restaurant. We heard commotion outside the restaurant and we decided to investigate. It turned out that there was a welcoming group for the Chinese president. I had my D300 handy and decided to take some pictures. It was getting dark and this was a good test to see how the D300 fair as far as ISO rating. I took the pictures with iso 2000 and with the on board flash. I found the pictures mostly usable. Also included more pictures for that night.

Autumn Colours
